Gaurav Gupta


Gaurav works for nature and his aim to protect and restore world’s natural places. Besides Terrascape, Gaurav is also a consultant with UNDP. Prior to that Gaurav led WWF’s landscape conservation programme in Myanmar for six years. Prior to that he worked with Barclays Investment Bank for several years. Gaurav holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from IIT Delhi, MBA from ESMT in Germany, and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute.

Alexander Wiese

Advisor, Finance

Alexander Wiese is an expert in financing nature conservation. Besides Terrascape, he also advises multilateral entities. Alexander led cross asset structuring teams at Barclays and Credit Suisse. He has been involved in structuring and executing various transactions such as CLOs, Debt for Nature Swaps, Sustainability Bonds, Blended Finance and De-Risking Facilities. Alexander holds a Diploma in Mathematics from the University of Technology in Darmstadt.

Amy Maling


Amy has dedicated her life to promoting and directly supporting territories of life, indigenous people’s rights and the protection of their territory, natural resources, culture, and identity. She has worked in a wide range of Asian countries, from the Philippines to Cambodia to Myanmar. Amy wears several hats. She is the Regional Coordinator for Southeast Asia for NTFP-EP. Amy is also an honorary member of ICCA Consortium.

Kavita Prakash-Mani

Conservation and sustainability Leader

Kavita has held several leadership positions, including the CEO of Mandai Nature, Global Conservation Director of WWF, and CEO of Grow Asia. She has decades of experience at the intersection of corporate sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and leadership. Kavita also is a board member of several leading organizations.

Maxim Vergeichik

Senior Economist, UNDP

Maxim oversees action to mobilize regulators and private sector for nature-positive transition, focusing on nature-related disclosures, debt instruments and revenue generation instruments such as biodiversity credits, government and private sector planning for biodiversity-positive budgets. Maxim has experience in designing and managing projects with portfolios worth over US$100 million.

Paul Chatterton

Founder, Landscape Finance Lab

Paul Chatterton is the lead and founder of the Landscape Finance Lab, a global platform for incubating and financing sustainable landscapes recently spun out of the conservation organization, WWF.
